Hunting and Fishing Club Newsletter - April 2009

Summer Recreation:

The fishing and hunting club members are welcome to take advantage of all of the summer recreation.

Fishing is permitted from the time dues are paid for 2009 until September 1st 2009. After September 1st fishing is only permitted after 12 noon until November 15th when the fishing season is considered over.

Camping is permitted anywhere around either lake but must not interfere with trap shooting.

Trap shooting is permitted by members of either club until August 15th because dove hunting for Hunting and Fishing Club members starts September 1st from 1/2 hour before sunrise until 12 noon.

The gate may be opened by any member and either left open or closed but the last member out must be sure the gate is shut and locked. If the lock number is changed on the gate everyone who is a member will be notified.

We will stock additional Channel Cat, Crappie, and Blue Gill this spring as soon as weather permits. The limit on fish shall be state limits except, Channel Cat are limited to 4 per family per day. This limit of 4 per day also applies to guest families.

Guests are permitted for recreation but guests or guest families will pay a $25.00 fee daily for fishing. The guest fee must be placed in the guest box by the steps to the lodge before the guests or their family fishes.

Camp fires are permitted but fires must be attended and thoroughly extinguished before leaving.

We will set up a pistol and rifle range below the dam on the south lake. If you are going to shoot pistols or rifles this can only be done at this range and you must call for permission before you fire pistols or rifles.

Membership includes spouses and children 21 and under who live at home or go to college.
